SALE SALE SALE for ALL MAY BIRTHDAY'S & MOTHERS!!!!!

Dear Friend,

It touches my heart everyday to experience some of the situations my students are going through and it hurts me even more when their parents and other teachers don't know quite how to deal with them. Yelling, screaming, and bad mouthing the teenager only makes them distance themselves from you more. And when that happens, I guarentee you that you no longer "really" know what's going on with them.

So what kind of issues are today's teens and their parents dealing with?

1. I recently had a student to run away from home because of her troubled relationship with her mother.

2. I recently spoke with a parent that needed to comfort her daughter because her daughter's friend committed suicide.
3. I recently had a student whose period was three weeks late and she has no clue how or if she should tell her mom.

These situations didn't occur to my "at risk" students. These are things I see happening to every kind of student in today's society. When I sit down with their parent, I hear the same statement.

"I cannot believe this is going on with my child!"

In every situation, the teenager's hid the issues in their life.  This does not have to happen. Learn how to reconnect with your child and to get your child to honestly share their mind and heart with you!

-What if I told you there's a way to find out the truth about your teen?

-What if I gave you pratical tips in how to deal with teen issues?

-What if there was a book that your teen could read that contain stories from other teenagers that actually related to them and dealt with issues that they have experienced?

-Wouldn't you want this for yourself?

-Wouldn't you want this for your teen?

Sex, Drugs, and Other Teenage Elephants: How To Deal With Teenage Issues is the book that shares true stories of problems teenagers deal with and gives practical advice on how to handle them.

Spring Break E-Book Sale Only $4.99 (Ended!)

Dear Reader,

It touches my heart everyday to experience some of the tragic situations my students are going through and it hurts me even more when their parents and sometimes other teachers don't know how to deal with them. Yelling, screaming, and bad mouthing the teenager only makes them distance themselves from you more. And when that happens, I guarentee you that you no longer "really" know what's going on with them.

So what kind of issues are teenagers dealing with?

1. I once had a male student who hid his baby from his entire family for three years.
2. I've had students who slept with security guards while their parents swore their child was a virgin.
3. I had students to overdose on crystal meth when the parent thought it was impossible because she "raised" her child better than that.

If that's not enough, I will leave a tip on How To Deal With Teenager Issues that's not even in the book. A free bonus tip just for you because you're still readying this page.

One of tips I've shared at the top of this page is the tip of sharing.
We get what we give in this world.
If you share stories about issues and not say words like "I would kill you if you ever did that." Your teen will be more likely to share an issue with you." -Period.

Think about secrets. Often times when you confide in a person, they turn around and confide in you. If you tell someone a secret and they DO NOT JUDGE YOU. They feel safe sharing secrets with you.

Currently I have only one friend that I share personal issues with. A new friend actually that i just met this year. Do you know why I am willing to confide in and share things with this friend that I don't even share with some of my life long friends. Its because she first shared with me. After a few times, I felt comfortable to share back.

We have something in common with me.
I can relate to her.
We feel like we are in the same boat and people like that.

Teenagers aren't any different.

One way of dealing with teen issues is to share honest, true stories like those contained in this book. Don't share your story in hopes to change your teen or manipulate the teen. Don't share your story as a lesson where you end it by saying "That's why you bet not ever do blah blah blah because look what happened to me."

NO!!!

That's too much. You share the story out of love. You become open and honest with your teen. You don't judge, criticize, or say anything mean. You Share and when they trust you, You Listen!

Listening is another Tip that I will go in-depth for in another blog.

So, what are you waiting for. Start applying these books and order your book today!

"There's An Elephant In The Room"

Have you ever ran across a problem so big that it was impossible to overlook, and yet no one ever said anything about it?

Like.....
That drunk uncle that everyone pretends is not drunk.
Your half sibling on your dad's side that's exactly the same age as you.
The black eye on your friend's face.
The reason why daddy doesn't come around anymore.

Situation like these are what sparked the phrase "There's An Elephant In The Room."

                                                              It's Big!
                                                      It Takes Up Space!
Even a Blind Man Is Aware Of It!

Yet people go along with life pretending that the issue isn't there! That's what this book is about. Big problems that teenagers face that no one seems to want to talk about.  Well, we are finally talking.

Sex, Drugs, and Other Teenage Elephants: How To Deal With Teenage Issues shares true stories of problems teenagers deal with and gives practical advice on how to handle them.
